REVAMPED WEBSITE, CELEBRATION OFFER, PAPERBACKS

December is upon us. Choices are upon us. This gift or that gift?

I went into a frenzy myself revamping my website – again, again, sorry, not sorry. This time I blame my friend, visual poet extraordinaire Wong Kar Wai, whose 25 years old films I’ve been binging on – again, again, and definitely not sorry. I mean, I went splurging on the colors in the redesign of my website according to my perception of what this genius is doing. Well, it’s not his thing, obviously, but I hope you’ll like it.

WHAT TO NOTE

If you visit – I hope you do, as I can’t let my work of mapping text and image on impossible grids go unnoticed – you’ll notice that the cartomantic readings section has been reintegrated with the website, after a period of having been hosted by the Read Like the Devil shop.

The reason for this is because I have other plans for the latter. You can still book your readings there, but now that this section is back with my name, perhaps it’s easier.

So, if it’s readings you want to book, you can either go back to the old practice and book them here or keep booking them on the Read Like the Devil website.

THE CELEBRATION OFFER

To celebrate the new colors, I decided to keep with the spirit of December and offer the medium reading option at less than half the price, $33 as against the regular $77.

For three days I’ll take questions pertaining to choice. This gift or that gift? This family car or this sports car? New York or San Francisco? Working for the government or working for myself? My wife or my mistress? Thelema or the Baptists?

In the next few days I will perform such readings, so if you have a question about choice, fling it. I will cast a set of three cards for each option and compare. This 6-card spread is unbelievably efficient. Though it’s a good thing I don’t ask you to believe anything. How could I, when I myself practice not-believing in anything on a daily basis? But still, you may want to try this.

PAPERBACKS

Andromalius, Take Two: Goetic Stories, is now available in both mainstream editions as paperback and ebook. Some have already preordered it. Thank you.

When that is said, let me also give the status on the silk hardback edition intended as a talisman. Andromalius together with the magical map for finding treasures is now at number 9. That is to say, there are only 9 copies left.

If you thought of getting this edition, now it’s the time to grab it, before it goes. The special edition books will not be reprinted.

OBSESSIONS

Some following my posts on Instagram asked: ‘can we have the obsessions now?’ This is in reference to my upcoming little book, Threads: Read Like the Devil Obsessions.

Well, in principle you could, as it’s in preorder status already, but since I want to fiddle with it for a very limited special edition thing, the launch date is still January 1, 2023.

That is to say, while this book is a regular paperback, yet in an unusual format, it will be widely available. But as a consecrated thing with extras on it and inside it, it will also be available as a talisman. The number of copies, however, will be very low, something like 22 or thereabouts.

FORMALISMS

Lastly, but not less importantly, there’s a new paperback out from EyeCorner Press by Calum Hazell, Formal Shamanic Conduct.

This one is for the lovers of anthropology, set theory and complex analysis in mathematics. But don’t let this scare you, if you’re not a mathematician. This is actually an art book. But I’ll let you discover it, if you’re so inclined.
